MYB orchestrates T cell exhaustion and response to checkpoint inhibition
Veit Buchholz and collegues have discovered a new populaation of T cells crucial for immunotherapy. This memory T cell subset is critical in maintaining the immune response against chronic infections and cancer and also mediates the response to immunotherapy using checkpoint inhibitors.
